Kanpur Smart City Limited conducted "MANTHAN" event on 12/10/2019 at Nagar Nigam Conference Hall under the Chairmanship of Mr. Amrit Lal Bind, ACEO-KSCL in the presence of Ms. Pooja Tripathi, Nodal Officer-KSCL. Various representatives of Hotel Association and Market Association participated in the event to share their thoughts and suggestions to make the city smarter. Mr Anup Dwivedi from Parivartan suggested to involve general public in the concept of smart cities. Mr Vijay Pandit (Pandit Hotels) suggested that day to day correspondence should be done in Hindi Language, he also suggested that targets should be defined before start of any project. Mr. Manoj Banka (Anandpuri RWA) suggested that management of waste should be done efficiently and should be sustainable. Mr. Ashwani Kohli (Naveen Market Association) suggested that underpass should be built connecting multilevel car parking and Naveen Market. Mr. Sandeep Pandey suggested that Bag Bank should be setup in each market to curb plastic waste. Mr Rajkumar Bhagtani suggested that public and government should come together to achieve mutual benefits. Mr. Umang Agarwal suggested that citizens should be made aware to tackle traffic woes. Mrs Anuradha Singh suggested that citizens should not use single use plastic. Dr. Awadh Dubey suggested that doctors association should be involved to achieve success in Swasth Umbrella of Smart City. Dr Kamayni Sharma suggested that volunteers should be encouraged to help achieve dreams of smart city. Mrs Manisha Bajpayi suggested that citizens should also understand their responsibilities towards better city. Meeting ended with vote of thanks from ACEO-KSCL
